With over 30 years of experience in education and coaching, I have dedicated the majority of my career to teaching students in the middle and intermediate grades across all core subjects. My journey into education began after earning a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University. I started my professional career working in the Berks County Juvenile Corrections system, where I gained valuable insights into youth development and behavior. Motivated by a desire to make a deeper and more positive impact in young people’s lives, I returned to school to pursue a teaching degree at Alvernia University. Since then, I’ve devoted myself to nurturing students’ academic, emotional, and social growth. As part of my ongoing commitment to professional development, I also earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University and hold a K–12 Principal Certification.

My family and I are proud members of St. Ignatius Parish, and both of our children are alumni of St. Ignatius School and Berks Catholic. This community holds a special place in our hearts, and I am honored to now be serving it in a new capacity. I am thrilled to begin this new chapter and take on a fresh challenge here at St. Ignatius. I look forward to many rewarding years of teaching, learning, and growing with this incredible community.
