Mrs. Ward is a graduate of Holy Family University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She comes from teaching experience in both the Philadelphia and Twin Valley School Districts. She spent ten years teaching middle school students Math and ELA before stepping into the role of Principal in 2023. She holds certifications in Elementary Education K–6 and Middle School Language Arts and earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Technology.

As she begins her another year as principal, she is grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the St. Ignatius community in a leadership role and to support the students, families, and faculty she has grown to know and love.

Mrs. Ward is a member of Saint Benedict’s Parish. She is married and is the proud mother of two children, Emily and Michael. She is especially proud of her daughter, Emily, who is enlisted in the United States Navy, and her son, Michael, who is beginning his journey at Penn State University.

Mrs. Ward considers education not simply a profession, but a vocation. Her years in the classroom, experiences as a mother and educator, and deep faith have shaped her commitment to creating a school community where students learn to believe in themselves and surrounded by others who believe in them.  She feels blessed to serve as principal of St. Ignatius Loyola Regional School and to continue helping the school community grow in faith, knowledge, and love.
